Swalmen (Limburgish and town dialect: Zjwame) is a town in the southeastern Netherlands. The town is situated between the German border and the Meuse river (Maas in Dutch). It has a rich history, of which the originally Roman 'Rozenkerkje' church in Asselt is a silent witness.
