The Grote Kerk or St.-Bavokerk is the largest church in the Dutch city of Haarlem. It is dedicated to Saint Bavo. It is built in the Gothic style of architecture and started its life as a Catholic church. It has been a cathedral from 1559 until it was confiscated in 1578 and converted to Protestantism.
