Resh is the twentieth letter of many Semitic alphabets, including Phoenician, Aramaic, Hebrew and Arabic alphabet . Its sound value is one of a number of rhotic consonants: usually or /ɾ/ but also /ʁ/ or /ʀ/ in Hebrew.
