Ifosfamide (pronounced eye.fos'.fa.mide) (also marketed as Mitoxana and Ifex) is a nitrogen mustard alkylating agent used in the treatment of cancer. It is a white powder which, when prepared for use in chemotherapy becomes a clear, colorless fluid.
