A carillon (/kaʁijɔ̃/, /ˈkærɪljɒn/ or /kəˈrɪljən/) is a musical instrument consisting of from 23 to 47 cast bronze cup-shaped bells which are played one after the other (to play a melody) or sounded together (to play a chord).
