The village of Tweedsmuir (Sliabh Thuaidh in Gaelic) is situated 8 miles from the source of the River Tweed, in The Borders of Scotland. The village is set in the valley with rolling hills and burns on both sides covering some fifty square miles. It incorporates settlements at Hearthstane, Cockiland, Menzion and Oliver.
