Toul is a commune in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in north-eastern France. It is a sub-prefecture of the department. Geography Toul is located between Commercy and Nancy, and situated between the Moselle River and the Canal de la Marne au Rhin. History Toul was known to the Romans as Tullum Leucorum, and was the capital of the Gaulish tribe of the Leuci.
