The Timoto-cuicas was an Amerindian group compromised of two tribes, the Timotos and the Cuicas, that inhabited in the Andes region of western Venezuela. They are thought to have been the most advanced Native American tribe to have existed in Venezuela. They were closely related to the Muisca, or also known as the Chibcha, native people of the Andes.
