Sochaux is a commune in the Doubs department in the region of Franche-Comté in eastern France. It is the seat of a canton. Geography Sochaux lies east of Montbéliard. Demographics Inhabitants are known as Sochaliens. Economy Sochaux is the site of a large industrial facility of the French auto manufacturer PSA Peugeot Citroën.
