Krishnagiri (Tamil:கிரிஷ்ணகிரி) is a municipal city and the headquarters of Krishnagiri District in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located 70km from Bangalore, 45km from Hosur, and 7km from Polupalli-Kundarapalli. Mango is cultivated as the main crop and it's considered the birth place of mangoes.
