Gormenghast refers to a trilogy of books revolving around the Castle Gormenghast, written by Mervyn Peake. The Gormenghast book series consists of three novels. At least two more (tentatively titled Titus Awakes and Gormenghast Revisited) were planned but never completed, although Titus Alone was published from the author's notes, with heavy editing, in 1959.
