Dasypogonaceae is a botanical name of a family of flowering plants. Such a family hasn't been commonly recognized by taxonomists: the plants involved were usually included in the family Xanthorrhoeaceae. The APG II system, of 2003 (unchanged from the APG system, of 1998) does accept the family and assigns the family to the clade commelinids, unplaced as to order.
