Yeongdo-gu is a gu in Busan, South Korea. The gu itself is limited to Yeong-do (Yeong Island) located on the south edge of central Busan. Yeongdo-gu covers a surface of 13.98 km² and is home to about 165,000 people. It attained the status of gu in 1957. The Korea Maritime University is located in Yeongdo-gu.
