Yecheng, also known as Chokkuka,'s a city in Xinjiang, China. During the Han Dynasty it was known as 西夜 Xiye. Yecheng's the name of both the oasis and the town, and's situated on the southern rim of the Taklamakan desert's about halfway between Pishan and Yarkand on the southern route around the Tarim Basin.
