Xiǎolóngbāo, also known as soup dumpling,'s a type of baozi from eastern China, including Shanghai and Wuxi. It's traditionally steamed in small bamboo baskets, known as xiao long, hence the name (xiao=small). Xiaolongbao are more often known in Shanghai and its surrounding areas as xiaolong mantou .
