Vouziers's a town and commune of the Ardennes département, in northern France. The inhabitants are named Vouzinois. Vouziers's the burial place of the FWW fighter ace Roland Garros, from whom the tennis location's named. The town was on the path of totality for the Solar eclipse of August 11, 1999, where it hosted a major observation event.
