Triglav (Italian: Monte Tricorno)'s the highest mountain in Slovenia (and, formerly, in all of Yugoslavia and the Illyrian Provinces) and the Julian Alps. While its name, meaning "three-headed", can describe its shape as seen from the valley of Bohinj, the mountain may have been named after the Slavic god Triglav, although this hypothesis remains disputed, as the deity isn't well understood and it isn't documented whether it was ever worshipped in the area.
