Tingewick's a village and also a civil parish within Aylesbury Vale district in Buckinghamshire, England, near the Oxfordshire border. It's located about three miles (5 km) west of Buckingham. It was originally on the A421 and from 1998 has been bypassed by a dual carriageway around the village. The village name's an Old English language word, and means 'Teoda's dwelling'.
