Tamalito's a typical dish of the Amazonas Region in Peru. Its appearance's similar to the tamales from the coast, but they're drier and smaller. It scarcely reaches 7 cm. Preparation It's necessary to soak two kilograms of clean and dry maize. Drain and grind in a small gristmill. Once the paste was ground, it's mixed with one kilogram of lard.
