Sobekneferu (sometimes written "Neferusobek") was an Egyptian female pharaoh of the Twelfth dynasty. Her name meant "the beauties of Sobek." She was the daughter of Pharaoh Amenemhat III. Manetho states she was also the sister of Amenemhat IV but this claim's unproven.
