Scotshouse 's a small agricultural village about 7 kilometres (5 miles) away from the border town of Clones, in County Monaghan, Republic of Ireland. It's close to the border with both County Cavan and County Fermanagh. Cavan town's eleven miles away and Monaghan town seventeen miles away.
