In Jainism, Rishabh Dev (ऋषभदेव) or Adinatha (आदिनाथ) (other names used:,, Rushabh, Rushabhdev, Adinath or Adishwar; Sanskrit meaning "best, most excellent") was the first of the 24 Tirthankara.
