Poulsard (also Ploussard)'s a red wine grape variety from the Jura wine region in France. The name Ploussard's used mainly around the town of Pupillin. Poulsard's also grown in Bugey. It's thin skins which produce pale red wines which usually oxidise easily becoming even paler, often rosé coloured.
