Pegswood's a former coal mining village in Northumberland, England. It's located two miles east of Morpeth and three miles west of Ashington. It's a population of around 3260. Pegswood's served by Pegswood railway station, which's located on the East Coast Main Line. Geography Pegswood's situated on a small hill, above the valley where Morpeth's situated.
