Ouzo (ούζο)'s an anise-flavored spirit that's widely consumed in Greece. It's similar to pastis (France), Sambuca (Italy), mastika (Chios), raki (Turkey), salmiakki (Finland), and arak (Middle East and North Africa). It can be consumed neat or mixed with water.
