Ku-ring-gai Council's a Local Government Area in the North Shore region of Sydney. It includes the suburbs of Gordon, Pymble, Lindfield, Killara, St Ives, Roseville, Warrawee, Turramurra and parts of Wahroonga. The region's named after the Kuringgai tribe who once inhabited the area.
