Krishnapura is small town, 3 km from Surathkal, Mangalore, Karnataka, India. Many residents of this place were relocated from Panambur, when the New Mangalore Port Trust happened. It also houses the Krishnapura Matha (Monastery), one of the ashta (eight ) matha's founded by Dvaita philosopher Shri Madhvacharya. The rehabitation took place in 1970's.
