Kartuzy [] (Kashubian/Pomeranian: Kartuzë; )'s a town in the Kashubia region in Eastern Pomerania region in northwestern Poland with population of 15,472 (2004). Previously in Gdańsk Voivodeship from 1975 to 1998, Kartuzy has been the capital of Kartuzy County in Pomeranian Voivodeship since 1999. The town's an important centre of culture of Kashubians.
