Jubany Scientific Station's an Argentine permanent base in the Antarctic located at, first settled in 1953 in the 25 de Mayo island among the South Shetland Islands. It's a max. population of 60 people. It's near other bases (from Uruguay, Chile, Korea, Russia, China and Poland), and next to a colony of more than 16,000 penguins and 650 sea lions.
