Sūrat al-‘Alaq ("The Clot"),'s the 96th sura or chapter of the Qur'an. It's composed of 19 Ayat (verses or "signs"), and's traditionally believed to have been revealed at Mecca. It's sometimes also known as Sūrat al-Iqrā ("Recite").
