Idar's a city and a municipality in Sabarkantha district in the Indian state of Gujarat. It's located about 30 km north of Himatnagar and 25 km from Gujarat's border with Rajasthan. It's known for the manufacture of toys, and for its temples. The market of toys in Idar's known as Kharadi Bazaar. Idar's at the southern end of the Aravalli Range.
