Gormenghast refers to the books revolving around the castle Gormenghast, written by Mervyn Peake. The Gormenghast book series consists of three novels. At least two more (tentatively titled Titus Awakes and Gormenghast Revisited) were planned but never written. As the castle is the setting of only the first two books, it might be more properly called the Titus series.
