Gallimimus (GAL-i-MYE-mus), meaning 'fowl mimic','s a genus of ornithomimosaurid dinosaur from the late Cretaceous period (Maastrichtian stage) Nemegt Formation of Mongolia. With a maximum length of around and weighing as much as, it was one of the largest ornithomimosaurs.
