Chester-le-Street (pronounced CHEST-uhr-li-street)'s the main town in the former Chester-le-Street district of County Durham, England. It's a history going back to Roman times when it was called Concangis. The town's located south of Newcastle upon Tyne and west of Sunderland on the River Wear.
