Bandiiradley's one of the largest towns in the Mudug region of Somalia. It lies 70 km southwest of the city of Gaalkacyo, along the main highway that crosses Somalia. The city has a population of approximately 50,000 and has its own airport. In November 2006, the Union of Islamic Courts reportedly captured Bandiiradley.
