Aphyllanthaceae's the botanical name of a family of flowering plants, endemic to the western Mediterranean region. Such a family has been recognized by only few taxonomists. The APG II system (2003) doesn't recognize such a family, not as such, but allows it to be segregated from the family Asparagaceae, as an optional segregate.
